The actual first year post(picture heavy)

Hey, I've got quite a nice bunch mail this month and it's not over yet. Some of them were from last year but I only saw it in this year. Let's look through.
 From Norway, Anette.
 LR, USA.
This was the first time I was contacted thanks to my adress in FB, it was a nice surprise. From Finland.
Christmas card from South Korea, Odette.
She also sent me this necklace.
From Bree, Malaysia. I opened it it on January 5th only.
This was inside of gifts. And a letter.
Two packages I got before Christmas.
One was from Japan.

The other one is from Germany.
 Christmas ornaments...
...and cup with candy from Germany. Such a lovely present.

Traditional sweets and coffee from Japan.

Also got a Christmas card from Japan too.

This is how that coffee looked like. pretty interesting way to put it in the cup and easy to use.

From Shelby, USA.
From Teja, Slovenia. Along with some pictures she sent me.
 Tanja, Germany.
Curious, Mexico.
Ana, Croatia. She gave this to my hands when she came over here. My first meeting with a foreign pal :)
And last one came from France, Tari. The lenght of the letter is amazing. 14 pages with these small letters.

Slow mail days

Hey guys, I have been slowly writing replies and I think they either in my hands, just sent, just ready to be sent or...I'm not sure where the rest of my pals are but I do hope they don't forget about me while I keep remembering them and wondering how are they doing.
Now I present you the latest pieces and I fear I won't get anything else for some time. That emptyness is scary, actually.

This lovely letter comes from Teja, Slovenia. The postcards is from her trip to Croatia. And I must say I really loved the tea - I never thought rooibos + vanilla could taste so good.
Not getting along with my camera I think. And photos are upside down no matter what I do. That technology.

From Lina, Germany. The unexpected letter that cheered me up. She included two postcards from Japan and...lot's of train tickets! And each of them has a story in the letter, can you believe it?

And a card from Canada, William. It surely fits in my horse card collection.
A long weekend awaits me,  I hope to catch up with as many letters as I can.

Newest mail and books

First let's do a quick look through the last outgoing:
two more letters which I replied on Monday: to Bree in Malaysia.
And to Karolina in Czech republic.
Also, the postcards to Canada, Taiwan and Japan.

My incomming June 18-19th:
Teja, Slovenia.

 Great stamps.
Her letter and a train ticket. I wish I could collect them from various countries. Our tickets seem pretty boring.
From Melissa in USA nad her envelope that was letter itself.

Now I at least have the sakura stamps. So happy to get them.
I got a lotof greek stamps from a swap.

And also, two cards:
From my Finnish pal Tiia, who went to Bulgaria. I just love cards in interesting shapes.
And from a Chinese postcard pal.
 The Pamirs.

Love the stamps, they are new to me.

During this month I bought two more books, which means two more books started to read. I'll get them finished soon :)
Jude Deveraux "Lavender morning" dragged my attention by the cover, then I touched and felt how soft it is, never seen a book like it. The description seemed interesting and that's how I bought it. It hadn't dissapointed me.
And next was one of the books I already wanted - Audrey Niffenegger's "The time traveler's wife". It's a bit complicated to understand everything, but I hope I will.
Those who buy books, do you choose them before going to buy or like to go and search for "the one"? I have tried both ways and only once I was dissapointed by a book that I wanted to buy - that was "The horse whisperer". I didn't like it because I was anticipating for more attention to horses, not love story or maybe I was a bit younger and foolish, yet I gave the book away. I carefully choose books to buy, especially whne I see them for the first time. I like to "feel" which one will be good.

Stamps from Shelby letter, or rather, a collection of them Liberty/Freedom/Equality/Justice forever.

Reply from Melissa, that makes the third letter from USA this month in a row :D

The envie and the stationery looks so cute and yummy :D

Next up is my outgoing to Russia and Slovenia, but I only have two postcards(sorry for quality) to remember not to send the same again.
 to Slovenia
to Russia

one more card is reserved for Lisa in Norway.

Check out my beloved basiliks that grow so fast! They showed up in one week and that's how thye looked on Tuesday
and Friday
They grow in days and maybe after one week I'll be able to plant them outside, or after two.

Finally, more Spring-ish photos of our cherry tree by our balcony and flowers that appeared from nowhere and taking over the grass in front of my windows.

That's all for this week, I have 6 letters to reply, all received during this week and one to rewrite, because I don't even know how it disappeared -_-
Let's anticipate for another week full of mail!
